The incident took place on the B9077 Aberdeen to Banchory road at North Tilbouries, Maryculter. The route has been closed from the Park crossroads to the B979 Maryculter to Stonehaven road junction. The unclassified road between Drumoak and Durris has also been closed at Park Bridge. Nobody is said to have been injured during the incident. A police spokesman said: “The road is closed between the B979 and Park Bridge which is the bridge near Drumoak’s Park crossroads. “There is no serious injury or anything but because the road is not too big the cars need to be mobilised. It will hopefully be opened shortly. “I think it is just purely just because the cars are blocking both lanes.”
