Police have evacuated the “immediate area” surrounding The Co-op store at Buchan Road after the package was found around 11.45am. A spokeswoman for Police Scotland confirmed officers were at the scene. “We were called to the scene about 11.45am after a suspect package was found,” she said. “As a precaution the immediate area has been evacuated and Buchan Road has been closed. “Nobody has been injured.” She added that officers were advising people to stay away from the scene while officers carry out their investigations.
