Police have netted three men in connection with drug and antisocial behaviour offences during a crackdown at high-rise flats in Aberdeen.
The operation has seen high-visibility patrols and drug raids at tower blocks in the Seaton area of Aberdeen.
These followed complaints of antisocial behaviour.
The clampdown was carried out by officers from Aberdeen division’s alcohol and violence reduction unit, assisted by local officers and city wardens.
Two men, aged 23 and 24, have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with drug offences and a 44-year-old man was charged with antisocial behaviour.
The men are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date.
A small amount of cannabis and a four-figure sum of cash were also recovered.
Sgt David Cowie said: “Police officers worked closely with Aberdeen city wardens and the community of Seaton to identify and target the minority of individuals committing these crimes.
“A number of proactive, high-visibility patrols were carried out in and around the high-rise buildings.
“These patrols will continue in the Seaton area ensuring that the residents and local business have a safe area to live and work.”
