Almost 1,000 households were left without power in Aberdeen today due to an electrical fault. At around 3.17pm just under 1,000 homes lost power in Bridge of Don. It is understood that the power cut was due to faulty pole box in the Ashwood area. Electricians from Scottish and Southern Energy managed to restore power to the affected properties after just more than an hour later at 4.30pm.
