Police were alerted to the crash – at the Great Northern Road roundabout near St Machar Academy – at around 1.20pm. The motorist, who was driving a Volkswagen Golf, has now been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. A police spokesman said his injuries are not thought to be serious.
