The screening will take place at Duthie Park tonight
North-east opera buffs are invited to a special outdoor screening in Aberdeen tonight.
Kasper Holten’s production of Mozart’s Don Giovanni will be shown in Duthie Park at 7pm.
The screening has been made possible through a partnership between Aberdeen City Council, offshore giant BP and the Royal Opera House, London, as part of the BP Big Screens initiative.
The opera is sung in Italian with English subtitles and has a running time of about three-and-a-half hours.
Picnics and portable seats are allowed in the park, but glass, cans, barbecues and fires are not permitted.
