Motorists will face disruption on a major north-east road for more than a year, starting next weekend.
Traffic management measures will be in place to allow the new construction of the new Craibstone and Dyce Drive junctions on the A96 Aberdeen-Inverness road.
The works – part of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route project – will involve building a new roundabout to connect Craibstone Junction and the Airport Link Road, completing a gas main diversion, building a traffic lights-controlled junction and installing a temporary bridge over the A96 in advance of the permanent crossing.
Temporary traffic lights, lane restrictions, temporary speed restrictions and contraflows w in place for 13 months.
