The incident took place just after 3pm on the A950 Mintlaw to New Pitsligo road at the junction with the B9106 road to Maud. The cyclist, a 56-year-old male, suffered both leg and arm injuries was transported to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. His condition is not believed to be life threatening. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Police Scotland on 101.
