Four people were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary last night after a popular city bar caught on fire.
The Siberia Vodka Bar on Belmont Street was evacuated just before midnight last night due to a fire which is believed to have ignited because of an electrical fault.
The four people were taken to ARI to be treated for minor smoke inhalation.
Fire, police and ambulance teams were called to the scene at 11.20pm, and by 11.40pm the fire had been extinguished.
During the incident a part of Belmont Street was closed off to make room for the three fire appliances attending the blaze.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “There are no apparent suspicious circumstances.
“Some people were treated for smoke inhalation.”
