Police swoop on the property in the Kittybrewster area of the city last night
A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder.
Ewan Macdonald, 22, was detained by police following an incident that left two men needing hospital treatment over the weekend.
Police said the pair, both in their 30s, were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after they were found injured in the Grampian Road area of Aberdeen.
They are believed to have been hurt some time between 10pm on Saturday and early on Sunday morning.
An investigation into the cause of their injuries led to a police raid on a property in the Kittybrewster area of the city on Monday afternoon.
Witnesses reported up to 20 officers swooping on a flat in full riot gear, supported by sniffer dogs, shortly after 4pm.
Macdonald is understood to have been arrested during the police operation and appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday in connection with five charges.
Prosecutors claim he carried out an assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement and attempted murder, as well three further assaults and a theft.
Macdonald, from Aberdeen, made no plea and was remanded in custody.
He is expected to appear again in court next week.
