An Aberdeen charity has sponsored the training of a guide dog puppy named Bramble.
As part of its 100th anniversary, the Rotary Club of Aberdeen has raised £5,000 to help transform the six-week-old pup into a fully qualified guide dog.
Over the next 12 months Bramble will be put through its paces at the guide dog training school in Forfar.
Andrea Williams, community fundraiser with Guide Dogs Scotland said: “The Rotarians of Aberdeen appreciate how important it is to bring independence to someone with sight loss.
“A guide dog brings confidence, mobility and companionship.
“Bramble will go on to be a life changer.”
