A man has denied driving a car dangerously towards a detective.
Donovan Reid appeared from custody at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday facing three charges which are all alleged to have happened on March 17 this year.
The 24-year-old is accused of driving a Volkswagen Golf on an unnamed road in the city between Regent Walk and Linksfield Court without the appropriate licence or insurance.
It is further alleged that Reid, of 23 Westmead Drive, Oldbury, drove the car dangerously by accelerating harshly towards DC John Walker causing him to take “evasive action” to avoid being hit.
Court papers state that Reid then ctwo cars in his path causing damage to them both.
Reid denied all the charges and will go on trial later this year.
