A teenager was sent to hospital on Thursday night after being assaulted by four thugs in Aberdeen city centre.
In the assault two males and four females, believed to be aged between 16 and 18 years old, attacked a 15 year old boy on Richmond street just after midnight.
One of the youths was described as having a slim build, stubble on his face, and wearing all black clothing.
Another of the attackers was described as being small in height, with a large build, and wearing a grey jumper and black tracksuit trousers.
The 15-year-old sustained injuries to his arm and leg in the assault.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the assault, and have asked anyone with information relating to the incident to call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they wish to remain anonymous.
