Emergency services were called to a house fire in Peterhead this morning.
The blaze started at around 2:30am on Peterhead’s North Street in an unoccupied sheltered housing unit.
Two appliances were dispatched from Peterhead, supported by one from Maud.
The three teams took more than an hour to bring the fire under control.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesman confirmed nobody had to be rescued and there were no injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A joint investigation will be conduced with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to identify what caused this to happen.”
