Police are appealing for information following a spate of vandal attacks in the north-east’s biggest town.
Peterhead Academy, the Lord Catto Pavilion and the Anna Ritchie School were all targeted.
Hundreds of pounds of damage was done to the special school when a number of windows were smashed. The high school and the pavilion were both defaced with graffiti.
Sergeant George Nixon, from the Buchan community policing team, said: “These mindless acts of vandalism towards important community facilities are unacceptable.
“We are following a number of lines of inquiry, however I would urge members of the public to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to us.
“We will be increasing patrols around local schools and I would encourage people to speak with our officers to highlight anything they may have seen.”
