Petrolheads will be given the chance to live life in the fast lane today when an Aberdeenshire attraction shows off some of the world’s fastest supercars.
The Grampian Transport Museum at Alford will hold the Fast Car Rides event from 2pm until 4pm.
A selection of supercars and high performance motors will take to the circuit, with visitors offered the chance to tag along in the passenger seats.
Among the vehicles will be a Ferrari, an AC Cobra, a Nissan 350Z, a Caterham Supersport and a Lamborghini Diablo.
Museum curator Mike Ward said: “Grampian Transport Museum is proud of its record for providing a high level of access to its vehicle exhibits within the museum.
“We extend this philosophy to our activity afternoons and Fast Car Rides is a prime example of this.
“Where else in UK can you ride in a £300,000 supercar and better still get the chance to question the enthusiastic owner driver?”
Car rides are available for visitors aged eight and over as part of standard admission to the museum.
Entry is £9.50 for adults and £7.50 for children.
