Police were called to the Abbotswell Road/Wellington Road junction in Torry at around 11.55 am. The female driver of the moped has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infrimary (ARI) after the crash with the blue BMW five series car. An ambulance and paramedic response unit was dispatched to the scene shortly afterwards. A police spokeswoman said the woman has been taken to ARI with minor leg injuries.
