Two elderly people injured following Inverurie crash

Two elderly people are said to be injured following a crash in Aberdeenshire.
Police, fire and rescue and ambulance services have all been called to the two vehicle incident – which took place on Harlaw Road, Inverurie, at around 1pm outside Autoparts.
A police spokeswoman warned the road “may be closed a wee while”.
An ambulance spokesman said: “We are on the scene at the moment. The details I have got a two-vehicle road traffic accident and there is twp patients, two elderly patients, certainly being treated by paramedics.
“We sent two ambulances and a doctor.”
Two fire teams were also called to the scene from Inverurie and Insch.
A spokeswoman for the service said: “We were called to the scene at 13.08pm. There is no mention of any equipment in use.”
