A 27-year-old woman was attacked by a man as she walked alone along Westray Road, Summerhill, at around 3.45am on Sunday, (July 27) morning. A police spokeswoman said the attack was unprovoked. She added: “This type of incident is highly unusual in the area.” The woman suffered minor injuries but did not need hospital treatment. The man in custody is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today (Monday July 27).
