Police are appealing for information after a teenager was assaulted at the weekend in Kemnay.
An 18 year old man from Inverurie sustained injuries to his head and face outside the Burnett Arms in the Aberdeenshire village on Saturday evening (August 1).
Investigating Officer PC Kevin Ritchie of the Aberdeenshire and Moray Violence Reduction Unit said: “We believe the man was assaulted by a group of other males aged in their twenties who had been within the licences premises prior to the incident.
“This type of incident is uncommon in Kemnay and we are following a positive line of enquiry, however if anyone witnessed the incident or has any information I would ask them to call in.”
