Two men have been arrested after police raided an address on a busy Peterhead street today.
The Blue Toon’s Queen Street was locked down earlier this afternoon, following a police search.
Passersby were not able to access the street for more than an hour, as officers in riot equipment and police vans could be seen in the area around 12.30pm.
Cops have now confirmed that a search took place at a premises under warrant on the busy high street.
Pictures show officers entering Peterhead’s Phone Tech shop.
Two men, aged 25 and 26, were arrested in connection with the incident.
The road reopened again around 2.45pm.
Pictures also showed a large group of youngsters in school uniforms near the scene of the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are searching a premises under warrant on Queen Street, Peterhead as part of an ongoing enquiry.
“Two men, aged 25 and 26, have been arrested in connection.”
