Emergency services were alerted at around 2.30am. Six fire crews, a height vehicle and a water carrier attended the incident. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “It was an extensive fire, our crews were still on the scene at 6am with crews damping down. “We sent two crews from Peterhead and Ellon, a height vehicle from Aberdeen and water carrier from Turriff.” Police Scotland are working with the Fire Service to ascertain what caused the fire. A police spokesperson said: “At this point in time we can’t discount criminality.”
