Three crews were sent to the fire at SIG Roofing at the Granitehill Enterprise Centre on Quarry Road, Northfield around 8pm. Fire fighters spent around 20 minutes tackling the flames using a hose reel jet. Smoke could be seen across the city – and the fire service said it had received “numerous” calls from members of the public.
