Police and Aberdeen coastguard are currently in attendance near the Bridge of Dee after a dinghy was spotted overboard. The call was made at around 10.20am and the Aberdeen lifeboat was launched around 15 minutes later. It is understood that they are currently searching near Leggart Terrace. UPDATE: Emergency services have stood down and the dingy has been taken to the police station on Queen Street. They looked in the water but found no sign of anyone in distress. People living nearby said the dingy had been in the water for several days.
