The collision – involving a red Vauxhall Corsa and a lorry – happened about 12.25pm. Police are at the scene and have closed the road until both vehicles can be moved. A police spokeswoman confirmed there are no injuries as a result of the accident. The road closure is causing congestion problems in the city centre.
