The accident happened on the A920 between Huntly and Dufftown just after midday. Two fires crews – one from Huntly and another from Dufftown – attended the scene. Fire fighters had to use cutting gear to free a woman who was trapped. A police spokesman confirmed that her injuries are not believed to be serious.
