A north-east landmark has been given a spooky makeover for a big budget adaptation of the Frankenstein story.
Dunnottar Castle, near Stonehaven, has been used as a location for the upcoming Victor Frankenstien film featuring A-list stars Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy.
The film aims to tell the story of the origins of the man who created the world famous monster.
The north-east castle plays host to where the doctor carries out his gruesome experiments and is seen in a whole new light in the recently released trailer.
