Police have warned motorists to lock their vehicles after a spate of thefts in the Peterhead area.
The most recent incident happened in St Mary Street on Monday night when hundreds of pounds of electronics were stolen from a parked car.
Police believe the theft happened between 5pm on Monday and 12.30pm on Tuesday.
Inspector Simon Reid, of the Peterhead community policing team, said: “As we move through autumn and the evenings get darker, it is important that residents take steps to discourage criminals by ensuring that their cars and homes are securely locked.
“Keep your valuables out of sight and remember that a simple act such as keeping your car keys out of easy reach of your door can be a vital step in preventing a crime from taking place.”
Officers are appealing for anyone with information about the recent thefts to come forward immediately.
