Two roads in Macduff will closed to traffic in the coming weeks to allow for vital resurfacing works.
The A947 Banff to Aberdeen road will be closed between Banff Bridge and Myrus Cemetery. A minor road between Myrus Cottage and Corskie Cottages will also be shut during the works.
The work will be carried out on September 12, 19 and 20 between 8pm and 6pm and local diversions will be in place.
Aberdeenshire Council’s head of roads and landscaping services Philip McKay said: “Every effort is being made to carry out these essential works in Macduff during quieter periods when traffic flows are lower.
“By closing the roads only on weekend days, we hope to keep disruption to an absolute minimum.
“As always, Aberdeenshire Council thanks motorists for their patience and understanding while we carry out these works.”
Pedestrian and emergency will be maintained, as will vehicle access to affected properties where possible.
