Police Scotland are appealing for information following a crash on the A90 at Porthlethen on Tuesday September 1.
The incident happened at around 9:30am at the A90’s slip road for Portlethen.
A dark coloured 4×4 vehicle towing a trailer with mesh sides was traveling in front of a black Vauxhall Corsa on the road.
The trailer’s tailgate detached and struck the Corsa, causing extensive damage.
The driver of the Corsa was not injured.
A police spokesperson said: “The 4×4 made its way towards Portlethen and it is uncertain whether they were immediately aware of the accident.”
Police are appealing for anyone with information on the incident or the vehicles involved to call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.
