A holiday-maker has been airlifted from a vessel off the coast of Aberdeen after suffering heart problems on-board.
A rescue helicopter was sent to the 160m-long boat shortly after 10.30pm on its journey from Invergordon to France.
Aberdeen Coastguard received a concerned call around 10.15pm, before seeking permission from a doctor to send out an emergency crew.
Rescue Bond 1 – which usually attends emergencies on oil platforms – attended the scene and airlifted the passenger from the vessel, which was sailing 25 miles offshore.
The casualty is being to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
