A major oil and gas exhibition is causing traffic chaos in Aberdeen.

Hundreds of people are currently stuck in the AECC, unable to leave the car park, after attending Offshore Europe earlier today.

Alfie Cheyne, chief executive of Ace Winches, claimed to have waited more than an hour to travel 200 yards from his parking space to the exit.

The traffic problems are also causing congestion problems in the surrounding area, with tailbacks
