Police have launched an investigation into a spate of vandalism in the Garioch area over the past week.
Since last Tuesday, there have been 18 separate acts of vandalism – costing more than £5,000 worth of damage.
Officers believe the offences are linked.
Over the course of a week – from Tuesday to Tuesday – vandals targeted 13 homes in the Chapel of Garioch and Burnhervie areas, as well as Keithhall Primary School and village hall.
During the same period, a further three properties in the Blackburn, Thainstone and Blairdaff areas were hit.
Constable Gary Christie said: “We are obviously keen to progress this inquiry and detect those who are responsible for these senseless crimes as soon as possible. We believe that on most occasions a stone has been thrown in order to break windows and that those responsible have left the scene in a car.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
