Nearly 70 tickets were issued during a crackdown on motorists parking illegally or dangerously in the north-east.
Police targeted drivers in Fraserburgh and Banff during the week-long operation, aimed at protecting children as they go to and from school.
In the Broch, more than 60 parking tickets were issued, five of which were given outside primary schools in the area.
A further three drivers were charged for speeding, driving without wearing a seatbelt and driving without an MOT.
Speed checks were carried out in the Watermill Road, Strichen Road and West Road areas, with officers warning three people about their speeding.
During a similar day of action in Banff, nine more tickets were handed out for illegal and dangerous parking and five drivers were warned for speeding on the A98 Fraserburgh to Fochabers road.
The exercise was carried out as part of Operation Cedar (Challenge, Educate, Detect and Reduce).
Constable Wayne Bedford, who took charge of the week-long campaign, said: “I am pleased with the response we have had from the public during the past week.
“I believe that the high visibility of our officers deters and prevents certain behaviour from drivers, therefore we will look to continue our presence with further operations in the future.”
