Students arriving – or returning – to Aberdeen can take part in a huge range of activities during freshers week at the Robert Gordon University.
More than 2,000 new students will be sampling the delights the city has to offer before settling into their new academic lifestyles.
Tomorrow, students can get a taster of the fun lined up when 90s pop legends S Club perform a selection of their greatest hits at The Garage.
Also performing will be Scottish rock band Model Aeroplanes, who will kick off the week-long event with a gig at the Tunnels on Monday.
The laughs will be provided by award-winning comic Matt Richardson, host of ITV2’s Xtra Factor, who will perform at the Vue Aberdeen next Wednesday.
New students will also get the chance to explore the world of science with a student takeover event at Satrosphere Science Centre next Thursday, which will feature science shows and exhibitions.
There will also be plenty to do for cinema fans, with the RGU Freshers Film Festival, which offers exclusive free screenings for students at the Vue.
Among the other events taking place throughout the week is the annual freshers fair, which will be held at RGU Sport next Thursday. Students will have the chance to grab a free giveaway from the different companies who will have stalls, as well as the opportunity to sign up for various clubs and organisations.
