Emergency services were called out to two crashes, less than a mile apart, on a major north-east road tonight.
Police were alerted to a crash on the southbound carriageway of the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road about 10.20pm, at Portlethen, after a car overturned and landed on its roof.
The motorist involved was subsequently taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where they were treated for a minor leg injury.
Meanwhile, a short time later, officers were called to another accident on the same road, also in Portlethen, after a collision between a red Ford Fiesta and a red Audi.
A police spokesman confirmed there were no injuries as a result of the crash.
Officers are currently at the scene of both incidents, waiting for the vehicles to be removed.
