Police are keen to track down a pensioner who was knocked down by a car in Aberdeen yesterday to ensure he is well.
The man, believed to be in his 60s or 70s, was hit on Union Street, near the junction Huntly Street, at about 7.30am.
The driver of the car stopped to check on the man, who got to his feet and caught the number 11 bus.
It is believed he got off the bus in the Hazlehead area.
Now police are keen to find the man to ensure he is safe and uninjured.
Sergeant Mark Stephen said: “We want to make sure this elderly gentleman is safe and see whether he requires any medical attention.
“I am also asking for anyone who witnessed the collision this morning to come forward and make us aware.”
The man is described as being around 5ft 3in, with grey cropped hair. He was wearing a navy jacket with navy trousers at the time of the incident. Anyone with information should call 101.
