The driver and passenger of car pulled over by police outside Stonehaven yesterday weren’t just breaking speed laws.
Police smelled something suspicious in the car and after a search of the vehicle found tens of thousands of pounds worth of illegal drugs.
Crack cocaine with an estimated street value of £20,000 and an estimated £20,000 worth of cannabis were recovered from the car, stopped on the A90 near Stonehaven at around 2pm yesterday.
A police Scotland spokesperson said: “Two men, aged 36 and 17, are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today (Thursday September 17) in relation to drug offences following the recovery of drugs with an estimated value of £40,000.”
