An Aberdeenshire man who admitted assaulting his former partner will learn his fate next month.
Martyn Daniel, of 27 School Crescent, Newburgh, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday.
He had previously admitted obstructing and struggling with police officers at an address in Claremont Grove, Aberdeen, on March 11.
Yesterday, the 32-year-old was due to go on trial accused of attacking his former girlfriend Yvonne Duncan at the same address on the same, but entered a last-minute guilty plea.
Sheriff Mark Thorley deferred Daniel’s sentence till next month to allow a criminal justice social work report to be obtained.
