One person has been taken to hospital following a three-vehicle smash on a north-east road.
Police and ambulance services were called to the scene of the crash on the A90 close to Hatton, and the turn-off to the A975 coastal road.
An individual has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as a precaution, but it is believed his injuries are not serious.
The A90 was blocked by emergency services as they made sure the scene was safe, and traffic is still currently being diverted through Cruden Bay, which has lead to major delays for motorists.
A police spokeswoman confirmed that teams are currently working hard to clear the busy road of the damaged vehicles and re-open it as soon as possible.
