The A90 has been closed at Ellon while vehicles involved in a crash are removed from the scene.
Police, ambulance and fire teams were called to the scene of the accident on the A90, close to the Ellon bypass just before 1pm, where a car transporter and a car crashed and the road has now been closed again this evening while the vehicles involved are removed.
The cab of the transporter had overturned in the crash, leaving its driver trapped inside.
The driver was cut free from the wreckage by fire teams and is not believed to be seriously injured.
The condition of the driver of the car is still unknown.
The road was closed shortly after the crash but has now been closed again while the transporter lorry and cars it was carrying are uplifted.
It is believed the road will be closed for the next hour. Police have confirmed diversions have been put in place through Ellon.
