Road restrictions come into effect today across Aberdeen at busy thoroughfares as part of telecom works in the city.
Vehicles will not be able to drive on Aberdeen’s Elmbank Terrace between its junctions with Bedford Road and Erskine Street, from 8am today (September 28) until October 18.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
An alternative route is available via Bedford Road, Sunnyside Road, Bedford Place and Elmfield Avenue.
Vehicles won’t be able to park on either side of Bedford Avenue near its junction with Bedford Road.
The restrictions are in place from today until 6am tomorrow and also from 8pm tomorrow to 6am on Wednesday.
Parking restrictions will also be implemented on Bedford Road.
Vehicles won’t be allowed to park on the road between its junctions with Sunnyside Road and Elmbank Terrace.
Restrictions are in place from today until midnight on October 11.
The parking restrictions on Bedford Road will only be implemented as and when required.
The outside lane of Wellington Road will also close at its junction with Craigshaw Road on October 10 and 11.
There will also be lane closures at the Souter Head Roundabout on Wellington Road.
These restrictions will run from Wednesday until next month. The lane closures on Wellington Road will come to an end on Friday, October 9.
