The accident – involving a van – happened about 11.15am, near the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre. The van broke through a stone wall and tumbled down, landing inches away from the River Dee. A police spokeswoman confirmed the male driver of the van had been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as a precaution.
