Police are investigating the theft of a 4×4 which was stolen from an Aberdeenshire home in the small hours of yesterday morning.
The incident took place at around 4am on Thursday October 1, when a man entered a driveway in the Cairnhill area, close to Kintore, and drove away in a bronze Land Rover Discovery.
The man was seen walking along the A96 between Old Rayne and Huntly shortly after the incident, and is thought to have approached various vehicles and asked for a lift to the Huntly area.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they wish to remain anonymous.
Police have also reminded the public to keep their vehicles and properties locked and secure to deter criminal activities.
