Engineers from SSE were sent to the scene at around 10.30pm and were able to restore access to 96 homes within the hour be rerouting lines. The road was closed for more than an hour while they ensured it was safe. It is expected that the remaining 11 homes will be with electricity again soon as the line is back up and power is coming back on. The road re-opened shortly after midday.
