A lorry and three cars crashed on the north-east’s busiest road last night.
Police were alerted to the smash between a white transit lorry, black Audi A3, silver Honda civic and white Ford fiesta on the A90 northbound at around 5.10 pm.
A 31-year-old man complained of neck pain following the incident.
He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by ambulance.
The road was closed at the scene just before the turn off to Balmedie as officers wait for the vehicles to be recovered.
There were delays for commuting motorists until the road reopened at 6.41 pm.
