Police and two ambulance crews were called to an “emergency” at The Commercial Hotel on Commerce Street in Insch at 6.10am. The woman, who is in her twenties, has been taken to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI). A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said she was in a “critical condition.” A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “The woman is on her way to the ARI and there are still officers on the scene at the moment.” It is understood that area outside the hotel on has now been cordoned off while inquiries are carried out. A staff member at the hotel said they could not comment.
