A flood alert has been issued for Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City.
Steady rain continued through northern and eastern Aberdeenshire on Tuesday and overnight.
A statement from the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) said: “Whilst the intensity of rain is now easing off, the total amount of rain that has fallen over this period is likely to be enough to cause some smaller watercourses and drains to overflow, with some localised flooding to low lying roads and land possible.
“Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property.
“Advice and information is also available through Floodline on 0345 9881188.”
This flood alert is now in force until further notice.
