A woman who was taken to hospital this morning after an incident at a North-east hotel, has died. Police and two ambulance crews were called to an “emergency” at The Commercial Hotel on Commerce Street in Insch just after 6am. The 27 year old woman, who is yet to be identified, was taken to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI). A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said she was in a “critical condition.” The area outside the hotel has now been cordoned off while inquiries are carried out. A police spokesperson said: “Police attended at Commerce Street, Insch, this morning at 6.15am following a concerns call for a 27-year-old woman. “The woman was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where she died. “The death is being treated as unexplained but there is not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.” A staff member at the hotel said they could not comment.
