Police officers are on the scene of a collision between a lorry and a car on a busy north-east road.
The incident happened on the A952 Mintlaw to Fraserburgh road around 3.05pm. The car involved was a blue Ford Fusion.
No one was seriously injured in the collision and the road has not been closed.
A spokeswoman for the police said: “We got a call just after 3.05pm about a two-vehicle collision on the Mintlaw to Fraserburgh road.
“All people are out of the vehicles and there are no injuries. The council are due to put sand on the road due to oil spillage. Cones are in place.”
Local councillor Lenny Pirie, who drove past the scene, said the driving conditions in the area were “appalling” and was disappointed to see another incident on the notorious route.
